BME 372 BME 372. Computational Modeling of the Cardiovascular System. 3 Hours.
Restricted to biomedical engineering majors. Analyze mathematical models and simulations of the cardiovascular system. Examine biomechanical simulations including the biomechanical function of the heart, heart valves, and the vasculature. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Biomedical Engineering 372 and 377T (Topic: Comput Modlg: Cardiovasc Sys) may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Biomedical Engineering 343 and 365R with a grade of at least C- in each.
