Examine the Earth's natural processes, populations, and systems. Explore the Earth's dynamic systems and how they change with time in response to a variety of disturbances. Use mathematical models to aid in understanding these dynamic systems and to estimate the impact of manmade disturbances. Discuss current environmental and ecological problems. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Chemical Engineering 349D and 379 (Topic: Dynamics in Eco and Env) may not both be counted. Offered on the letter-grade basis only.
