Examine historical to contemporary representations of childhood and adolescence in literature, film, culture, and society. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. English 344L (Topic 5) and 344R may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing and one of the following: Comparative Literature 315, English 303D (or 603B), 316L, 316M, 316N, 316P, or Tutorial Course 303D (or 603B).
