ECE 302H ECE 302H. Introduction to Electrical Engineering: Honors. 3 Hours.
Restricted to students in the Engineering Honors Program. Examine the scope and nature of professional activities of electrical engineers, including problem-solving techniques; analysis and design methods; engineering professional ethics; analysis of linear and non-linear analog circuits, including Thevenin/Norton equivalents, two-port networks, frequency domain analysis, mesh analysis, and nodal analysis; and operational amplifiers (DC response). Three lecture hours and two laboratory hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Electrical and Computer Engineering 302, 302H, Electrical Engineering 302, 302H. Prerequisite: Credit with a grade of at least C- or registration for Mathematics 408D.
