Same as Asian Studies 361 (Topic 36). Explores the political economies of East Asia with an emphasis on Japan, China, South Korea, and Taiwan. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing and six semester hours of lower-division coursework in government.
