Restricted to journalism majors. Basic television newsgathering skills, including shooting and editing videotape, planning and executing visual storytelling, and writing news packages. Students assist in a weekly news broadcast. One-and-one-half lecture hours and three laboratory hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may count: Journalism 330C, 330F, 335G, 335P. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing; Journalism 310F and 311F with a grade of at least B- in each; and Journalism 318P or 331G with a grade of at least C-.
