Study the operations research literature on the use of models and techniques related to healthcare delivery. Discuss decomposition techniques for integer programs, simulation, Markov chains, and stochastic programming. Operations Research and Industrial Engineering 383 and 397 (Topic: Health Care Delivery Models) may not both be counted. Three lecture hours per week for one semester.
Pre/Corequisites: Second year or higher graduate standing; graduate courses in linear programming, integer programming, statistics, stochastic processes.
