Introduction to the major areas of environmental health presented in the context of epidemiology, toxicology, and health effects. Subjects include water and air quality, solid and liquid waste, hazardous chemicals, radiation, infectious agents, food safety, and occupational health. Three lecture hours a week for one semester; several field trips to be arranged outside of the lecture.
