Advanced compounding methods with respect to pharmaceutical dosage forms and formulations, with emphasis placed on creating formulations that satisfy unique patient needs, and a discussion of equipment used by compounding pharmacists to formulate preparations that satisfy those needs. Pharmacy PharmD 186S builds upon compounding skills taught in Pharmacy PharmD 188P. Pharmacy 156S and Pharmacy PharmD 186S may not both be counted. Three laboratory hours a week for one semester.
