PHM 480D PHM 480D. Human Normal Physiology/Pathophysiology II. 4 Hours.

Integrated approach consisting of normal physiology (with limited functional anatomy), pathophysiology, and basic principles in pharmacology to address the etiology of disease states affecting the blood/immune system, renal, pulmonary, endocrine, and metabolic systems. Also includes multi-systemic diseases related to infectious disease and cancer. For each semester hour of credit earned, the equivalent of one lecture hour a week for one semester. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Pharmacy PharmD 480C.
