Examine basic concepts and current research directions in brain plasticity. Includes theory and research on how animals learn and remember, how brain areas and neurons adapt to life experiences, trauma, injury, and aging and new treatment directions based on neural plasticity principles. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Psychology 332P and 341K (Topic: Neural Plasticity And Behavior) may not both be counted.
