Explore religion and politics in the United States through reading of mostly primary sources addressing religious arguments taking positions on historical and contemporary issues. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Government 335C, 335M (Topic 5), Religious Studies 346 (Topic 2), 346P. Prerequisite: Six semester hours of lower-division coursework in Government.
