Subjects may include the basic terminology related to special needs students, recognizing differences in learning disabilities, evaluating teaching methods and materials, and teaching strategies that address the needs of special needs students, with a special focus on reading strategies. Rhetoric and Writing 379C (Topic: Overcoming Reading Difficulties) and UTeach-Liberal Arts 341R may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
