Advanced introduction to scientific computing, theory and application of numerical linear algebra, solution of nonlinear equations, and numerical approximation of functions. Computational Science, Engineering, and Mathematics 383K and Mathematics 387C may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
