Study literature and other forms within cultural and historical contexts, focusing on any one or more of the following: gender, race, ethnicity, culture, language, and/or globalization. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted unless the topics vary: English 323D, 324, 360L, 360S, 364D, 370W, 376M. May be repeated for credit when the topics vary. Prerequisite: One of the following: Comparative Literature 315, English 303D, 316L, 316M, 316N, 316P, or Tutorial Course 303D.
