Examine auditory and non-auditory effects of noise; damage-risk criteria; federal and state laws governing noise and noise control; acoustic measurement procedures; identification audiometry; ear protection; and non-organic hearing loss and evaluative procedures. Only one of the following may be counted: Communication Sciences and Disorders 394D, 394Q, Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences 194D, 394D, 194Q, 394Q. For each semester hour of credit earned, the equivalent of one lecture hour a week for one semester.
