Explore the critical application of exploratory techniques in digital scholarship in the humanities, including principles of exploratory data analysis programming language to perform both analysis and visualization. Critique how text, images, and audio are analyzed and represented from a humanistic perspective that considers intersectional power dynamics surrounding ability, class, gender, and race in culture. Survey of preeminent films of the twentieth century alongside a consideration of the literary works that most influenced them.
